Per tercera vegada en la hist\u00f2ria, en la final de la competici\u00f3 s'enfrontaven Espanya i els Estats Units. En totes elles les americanes es van emportar la vict\u00f2ria, per\u00f2 no sense sofriment. I \u00e9s la primera vegada en la hist\u00f2ria que dues Seleccions de formaci\u00f3, femenina i masculina, aconsegueixen medalla en un Mundial en el mateix estiu.<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Entre les art\u00edfexs del subcampionat es troben les jugadores del Val\u00e8ncia Basket <strong>In\u00e9s Monteagudo<\/strong> i <strong>Awa Fam<\/strong>.
