\tEl Club Deportivo San Pedro Moixent será el anfitrión de la Copa Junior Masculino Preferente, y su presidente Vicent Revert explica qué supone para la entidad poder albergar el evento.<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n
\tVicent Revert <\/strong>no titubea en destacar como "histórica para Moixent"<\/em><\/strong> la participación del Club Deportivo San Pedro en la Copa Junior Masculino Preferente. "Nunca nos habíamos clasificado para algo así"<\/em><\/strong>, remarca el máximo directivo de una entidad que no ha dudado en ir a por todas para convertirse en organizador de la competición. "Era el momento oportuno de organizar un evento de este tipo. En el Club estamos ya acostumbrados a hacer actividades como por ejemplo Torneos nacionales, ser una de las sedes del Programa de Tecnificación,… pero organizar y participar en una final todavía no habíamos tenido el orgullo de hacerlo hasta ahora"<\/strong><\/em>.<\/div>\n

\tEl CD San Pedro Moixent<\/strong> no sólo ha logrado la clasificación para la Copa Junior, sino que también estará en la Copa Senior Masculino Preferente, un doblete que tendrá el honor de acaparar por primera vez en la historia de esta novedosa competición. Para el presidente, este éxito es fruto de "la labor de muchos años, del trabajo del día a día y de una disciplina deportiva. Para nosotros es un orgullo. Somos los primeros que podemos decir que hemos hecho doblete, así que este resultado lo valoramos muy positivamente. Todo esto viene de un trabajo de muchos años, de trabajar en la forma de jugar, de defender,… y con muchos sacrificios"<\/strong><\/em>. En definitiva, un homenaje al esfuerzo que Vicent Revert tiene claro que es también "un mensaje a la cantera. Es el mensaje de que para llegar a los sitios, hay que luchar. No se llega de la noche a la mañana. Sólo puede hacerse con el sacrificio del día a día. Pero luchando, se puede llegar"<\/em><\/strong>.<\/div>\n

\tEl presidente se muestra cauto con las expectativas de cara a la Copa: "Está complicado porque el que llega a una final es porque juega bien y defiende bien. No apuesto por nadie, pero está claro que nosotros vamos a salir a ganar el Campeonato, como todos"<\/em><\/strong>. El año pasado, ser anfitrión fue clave en el triunfo del Denia Bàsquet, con un público entregado que le condujo en volandas a la remontada de dos partidos que prácticamente tenía perdidos. ¿Aspira Moixent a repetir esa ventaja de jugar en casa? "Estará difícil. Tendremos como rivales a tres grandes equipos. Y además no hablamos del mismo volumen de gente. No son poblaciones iguales ni aficionados iguales. El baloncesto en Moixent no tiene el auge que a mí me gustaría, pero sí desearía que por ser anfitrión el pueblo se volcara con nosotros"<\/strong><\/em>, apunta el presidente.<\/div>\n

\tQuien sí va a volcarse va a ser el CD San Pedro Moixent con sus jugadores. Ya han logrado la organización de la Copa Junior, pero quien pudiera pensar que eso significa renunciar a la Copa Senior, se equivoca. "En Moixent siempre vamos a por todas. Es un lema, y no me asusta. No sé si lo conseguiremos, pero apostaremos para organizar también la Copa Senior"<\/em><\/strong>.<\/div>\n

\tEl lunes se conocerá la sede, a la que pueden optar también los otros tres equipos clasificados o cualquier entidad o institución de la Comunidad Valenciana. Mientras tanto, todas las miradas se centran en el fin de semana del 27 al 29 de enero, cuando en el Pabellón Municipal de Moixent <\/strong>comience la lucha por hacerse con un título que puede valer el ascenso a categoría Autonómica.<\/div>\n
