\tParecía que nunca iba a llegar este fin de semana, pero aquí está. Ni más ni menos que el debut del Amics Castelló en la Liga LEB Oro y de Picken Claret en Liga Femenina-2.<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n
\tEste viernes es una fecha histórica para el baloncesto castellonense. Todo está dispuesto para el estreno de los jugadores de Toni Ten a las 20:30 horas en el Pabellón Ciutat de Castelló contra el Cáceres.<\/span><\/div>\n

\tEs un día tan señalado y esperado que hasta el propio técnico lo ve con cierta incredulidad en unas declaraciones que ha difundido el Club en la previa del choque. “La verdad es que cuesta creer lo que está a punto de pasar, nuestro debut en LEB Oro, algo por lo que hemos luchado tantos años”<\/em><\/strong>, indica Toni Ten<\/strong>, quien llega a este primer partido de competición tras haber pasado un pequeño vía crucis durante la fase de preparación. “Ha sido una pretemporada extraña. En todos los años que llevo no me ha pasado lo de esta semana, que he tenido serios problemas para poder contar con 10 jugadores para los entrenamientos por culpa de las lesiones”<\/em><\/strong>, señala un entrenador al que no le faltan motivos para la preocupación debido a los problemas físicos que padece su plantilla. “Tengo disponibles 8 jugadores, pero son seria duda Eric Sánchez, Alberto Fernández y Víctor Hidalgo. En función de cómo estén en el último entrenamiento y en el mismo calentamiento del partido decidiremos”<\/strong><\/em>, explica Toni. “Los mayores problemas nos los está dando la ausencia de Eric, ya que obligamos a desplaza a Chema García a la posición de base. Perdemos a un escolta y echamos de menos a un jugador que aporta mucha dirección y lectura de juego. Sin embargo, todas estas circunstancias no deben servir como excusa y hay que aunar esfuerzos para ganar este partido, que es muy importante para nosotros. Lo tenemos marcado en rojo en el calendario, porque si a final de temporada queremos la permanencia, el choque en casa ante el Cáceres, un recién ascendido como nosotros, es sumamente importante”<\/em><\/strong>, enfatiza el técnico.<\/div>\n

\tDos días después, el domingo, será el debut de Picken Claret<\/strong> en Liga Femenina-2. Las jugadoras de Carles Martínez comenzarán esta histórica temporada como visitantes, en la cancha del UCAM Jairis. El equipo se ha preparado a fondo desde finales de agosto para afrontar con máximas garantías el que podría ser el primer triunfo de la temporada.<\/div>\n
\t <\/div>\n
\tY por otra parte, destacar que Fundación Lucentum<\/strong> también comienza su andadura en LEB Plata. El año pasado los de Kuko Cruza ya cuajaron una excelente campaña metiéndose en Play-Off y seguro que esta temporada querán volver a luchar por estar arriba. Su primer rival será Sammic Iraurgi (domingo a las 12:15 h. en el Centro de Tecnificación).
