\tLa competición colegial más grande de Europa regresa a Valencia. La Copa Colegial & Bifrutas 2015 se presentó este martes en el Colegio El Pilar de Valencia.<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n

\t\tEl jugador del Valencia Basket Rafa Martínez<\/strong> fue el encargado de recibir y espolear a todos los jóvenes participantes del evento, dando los primeros consejos a algunos de los jugadores que lucharán con sus colegios por hacerse en la gran final con el Estandarte de Campeones. "Recuerdo mi etapa colegial como una de las más bonitas. Aún mantengo aquellas amistades"<\/em>, explicó Rafa.<\/div>\n
\t\tSerá la segunda edición de la Copa Colegial & Bifrutas de Valencia<\/strong>, que comenzará el próximo viernes 20 de febrero con la disputa de los primeros encuentros, tanto en categoría masculina como femenina, en los que las chicas de El Pilar y los chicos de Escolapias intentarán revalidar el título conseguido el pasado año.<\/div>\n
\t\tPablo Carabias<\/strong>, representante de la Copa Colegial & Bifrutas,<\/strong> expresó su satisfacción porque Valencia inicie el segundo proyecto “con más escuelas y la ilusión intacta del primer día. Siempre tuvimos la sensación de que en Valencia encontraríamos las personas y los colegios para potenciar el sueño”<\/em>.<\/div>\n
\t\tChechu Mulero<\/strong>, actual director deportivo de Valencia Basket, remarcó la importancia de los colegios en la formación de los deportistas: “sólo tenemos que fijarnos en el valor humano de deportistas como los Gasol, Víctor Claver o Rafa Martínez. Seguro que su etapa de formación en sus colegios fue excelente”<\/em>.<\/div>\n
\t\tTambién asistió al acto el presidente de la FBCV, Salvador Fabregat<\/strong>, quien destacó todo lo que suponen los colegios en la base del baloncesto: “los colegios son parte fundamental en el descubrimiento y desarrollo de nuestro deporte"<\/em>.<\/div>\n
\t\tPor su parte, el responsable de deportes del colegio El Pilar de Valencia, Manolo Díez<\/strong>, hizo mención a su colegio: "desde El Pilar queremos impulsar el baloncesto colegial y el sentido de pertenencia a nuestra institución e invitamos a los demás colegios a llenar sus patios con niños practicando baloncesto"<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\t\tDesde USA dieron su apoyo a los jóvenes jugadores el pivot inglés y ex-jugador de CB Canarias y Unicaja de Málaga, Joel Freeland<\/strong>, junto con el ex-All Star de la NBA Chris Kaman<\/strong>, actualmente militando en las filas de los Portland Trail Blazers. Ambos transmitieron el espíritu del baloncesto americano y la importancia de jugar representando a tu colegio y con tus amigos.<\/div>\n

\t\tLa Copa Colegial nace en el año 2006 como respuesta a inquietudes e intereses comunes por parte de varios de los colegios más representativos del baloncesto escolar de Madrid. Desde entonces, la competición ha crecido no solo en número de colegios, sino también en número de sedes. Gracias a la incursión de Bifrutas como patrocinador principal, la Copa creció el año 2013 llegando a cuatro nuevas sedes: Aragón (Zaragoza-Huesca), Barcelona y Sevilla. En la edición del año pasado continuó con su política de expansión llegando a otras 6 nuevas sedes: La Coruña, Vitoria-Bilbao, Valladolid, Valencia, Málaga y Badalona. La Copa Colegial & Bifrutas 2015 será la consolidación a nivel nacional de la que es la competición más grande del baloncesto colegial en toda Europa.<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
