De esta manera, La Nuc&iacute;a entra en un seleccionado grupo de ciudades europeas del deporte &quot;por sus excelentes instalaciones, mod&eacute;lico sistema de gesti&oacute;n y por la promoci&oacute;n de la vida saludable entre sus ciudadanos&quot;.<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<div> \t\t  \t<\/div>\n<div> \t\tGian Francesco Lupatteli, presidente de ACES Europa, ha entregado en el Parlamento Europeo a <strong>Bernab&eacute; Cano<\/strong>, alcalde de La Nuc&iacute;a, la bandera acreditativa que distingue al municipio como Ciudad Europea del Deporte, en la categor&iacute;a de <em>Towns<\/em> (villas), localidades menores de 25.000 habitantes. En la Gala en el Parlamento Europeo han participado 600 personas de toda Europa y se han premiado a otras localidades europeas como Amberes (B&eacute;lgica), Guimaraes (Portugal) o M&oacute;dena (Italia), entre otras.<\/div>\n<div> \t\t&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div> \t\tLa Nuc&iacute;a se convierte en el primer municipio de la Comunidad Valenciana en obtener este galard&oacute;n, que anteriormente s&oacute;lo lo hab&iacute;an obtenido las tres capitales: Alicante (2004), Valencia (2011) y Castell&oacute;n (2012). Y es la &uacute;nica poblaci&oacute;n menor de 25.000 habitantes en toda Espa&ntilde;a en recibir este galard&oacute;n en el a&ntilde;o 2013. Este distintivo certifica la excelencia de las instalaciones deportivas, as&iacute; como su gesti&oacute;n como medio de integraci&oacute;n para todos los colectivos sociales (tercera edad, discapacitados, infancia,&#8230;).
